I figured I better start journaling about events before I forget them. Im getting old...
Friday night Bobby and the kids hung out watching movies, playing games, and boiled eggs.
I have an Easter tradition that the kids get the Easter bunny on Saturday and then Sunday is reserved for the REAL meaning of Easter. So Bridge woke up and got her basket before work. After they went to the Easter egg hunt the kids got their baskets. This kept them busy. They got shower gel, lotions, candy, cars, cards, and the girls got beauty stuff. Bobby liked his basket too. ( He and the girls cost more, why is that?) I talked him into taking us swimming that afternoon. Then I went with them to their church that evening. Bobby made the comment that he appreciated that I dressed nice to go to church and that I was modest. It made me feel like a good example.
Sunday we colored the eggs, ate stuffed french toast with Strawberries, cooked all day for our feast. Bridge cooked the ham, helped make the veggies, and played with the kids. Celeste did the strawberrries, made the cake, and helped me do everything. My mom came over and then when Bobby got home we all ate that evening. It was a wonderful day with good food and people I love so much.
I know this is boring to some but this is my journal and its important to me. :o)
